Access for people with disabilities

The surgery has been built with particular reference to the needs of people who have mobility problems.  The adaptations include:

Access ramp to the main door Dedicated parking spaces for blue badge holders Automatically opening main door All consulting rooms on the ground floor Intercom help phone just outside the main entrance Furnishings and fittings chosen in contrasting colours for people with limited vision Very spacious adapted toilet facilities for people in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.

We also have a wheelchair available for anyone who has trouble walking too far.  We also have an induction loop in the reception area although, unfortunately, it is not functioning correctly at the moment. 

Staff are always happy to give assistance if it is needed.  Please contact reception if you need any other help, for example if you have difficulty seeing the patient call in board.
